After three years playing in the band of the Royal Artillery, Ian embarked upon his career as a percussionist in his home city of London. He has performed in almost every area and style of the music industry.
He has perrformed in many West End theatre productions, including Singin’ In The Rain, Annie, Barnum and Aspects of Love. He has recorded and performed in concert with various artists including Marti Webb, Elaine Page and Michael Ball.
Since moving to Norfolk in 1993, Ian has combined his playing career with instrumental teaching and has recently been appointed as the Head of Percussion for the Norfolk County Music Service.
